Rob Snyder Origami

Rob Snyder is an American origami artist and paper folder. His original origami designs have been published in OrigamiUSA's The Paper and The Fold, the British Origami Society (BOS) magazine and BOS Convention book 2020, the Spanish Origami Association (AEP) Pajarita magazine, The French Origami Society (MFPP) Le Pli magazine, 4 Esquinas magazine (Revista Latinoamericano de Origami), and the OrigamiUSA annual Origami Collections in 2016 and 2021, along with numerous books.

Rob was an invited guest at the Origami Colombia convention November 9-11, 2019, in Cali, Colombia. He taught his Lion and Contemplation models through Origami USA's Origami Connect online classes. He was also a guest at the first Foldspace Origami Convention October 2-4, 2020, and currently teaches a variety of classes and workshops online. 

His piece "Sparrows" received the Toledo Federation of Arts Societies Award at the 9th Annual Northwest Ohio Community Art Exhibition. His piece "Frog and Lily Pad" was accepted for "In, On, Of Paper Juried Exhibition, Cycle 2". And his pieces "Gorilla", "Polar Bear", and "Sparrow" were accepted for Leafing Through History: Plants That Make Paper at the Missouri Botanical Garden, St. Louis, MO., June 14-October 27, 2019.
